The Omni Channel Operations and Planning Sr Manager supports the fulfillment operations of the stores. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for The Container Store to improve the fulfillment operations by evaluating store performance and working with Store Leadership to improve key Omni Fulfillment Metrics. This includes operations related to buy-online-pickup-in-store (BOPIS), store pick-up orders, same-day delivery, ship from and ship to store as well as custom spaces delivery.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors store order fulfillment reporting to identify exceptions and areas for improvement in store fulfillment operations
- Works with technology and product team to identify improved metrics or gaps in existing reporting as well as functionality improvements in the system
- Works with the Store Leadership Team to identify exceptions and actions to take to bring performance back in-line with service level agreements (SLA)
- Works directly with store management teams to coach and train on areas that directly impact the store's omni fulfillment performance
- Works with retail operations and engineering to develop and document best practices for order fulfillment in the stores
- Works with supply chain and distribution center teams to implement quality control processes to insure the accuracy of all customer orders sent to the stores
- Work with DC Operations on improving shipping speed and damage rate metrics
- Works with the eComm team to review and analyze net promoter scores and research detractor comments to identify opportunities for improvement
- Work with eComm and other involved teams in mapping the new product introduction process for the web focused on shortening the cycle time from purchase commitment to display on PDP
- Develop forecast for fulfillment types to aid in financial planning, and actively analyze forecast to actual variances to regularly update financial plans
- Administers the Omni Fulfillment Awards program to recognize excellence in the stores as it relates to serving customers and achieving/exceeding SLAs
- College degree preferred
- Three to five years of experience in retail operations analysis, financial/inventory analysis, or retail distribution/industrial engineering required
- Strong computer skills: proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, and extensive knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Microstrategy a plus
- Basic understanding of SQL a big plus
- Understanding of corporate computer systems involving large scale computing and data movement
- Ability to travel 20% a year, based on the business needs
- Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in office/2 remote
- Must be at least 18 years of age
